That was a tough 20 mile run at Bedford Festival today. Going well for the first 13 miles in very not conditions. Managing tight calf muscles for last miles. Big shout out to emergency services and first aiders today in the hot weather.
A chance to take part in Kralinge Bos parkrun. Beautiful course and beautiful day and surprisingly my best ever age graded time and fourth fastest ever. Not that time important of course
Investigation good; but there needs to be a moratorium now on these debt collection processes. Why are local councils
@LGAcomms organisations responsible for #publichealth including #mentalhealth and #wellbeing allowed to do something that is so wrong?
V important @MartinSLewis Councils in England responsibe for public health; unmanageable debt major risk factor 4 poor #mentalhealth & ppl w mentalhealth conditions high risk of debt. Councils use rapid punitive measures & bailiffs; totally unacceptable needs to be stopped now

Brilliant news. I'm quite emotional. Govt has agreed to investigate Council Tax rapid debt collection escalation that is catastrophic for millions. Miss one MONTH'S payment and within six weeks you can have baliffs forcing you to pay for the YEAR plus £100s admin charges.
Thanks so much to @mmhpi and @gmb
Good to speak #epa2025 Madrid today on strengthening economic case for #mentalhealth Great talks also @CALDirector Laura Maria Sevilla Cermeño on mental health liaison in general and special needs schools; @drjackandrews on potential harms of universal prevention in schools.

Good to run first half-marathon of the year at the Milton Keynes Festival of Running today in just over 2hrs and 3 mins. Enjoyed the run; should have worn gloves though, was really quite bitter weather. Really contrast from warm weather at parkrun in Northampton on Saturday.
In Bodø Norway to see my friend and colleague @ipsnor Beate Brinchmann defend her PhD Thesis 'Can Individual Placement and Support (IPS)(supported employment) contribute to changing life of individuals experiencing mentalhealth problems?' Been a pleasure to collaborate with her
Good to be in Dublin today to launch of our @CPEC_LSE report for @MHReform on the economic case for scaling up early access to support for children and young people in Ireland with 'mild to moderate' levels of #mentalhealth conditions including anxiety and depression
Great to take part in @FPH@rcpsych event on #publicmentalhealth Important to work across boundaries/disciplines to implement effectively. Also heard much more use can be made of routine health and other data to make case e.g. help ensure experience and voices of all are heard
