Save Our Pools 🛟

It was great to move the conversation forward in Parliament today around the importance of swimming pools and their role in changing and saving lives ✅

Our round table discussion involved:

•The need for statutory consultation around pool closures to protect them as vital community assets

•The need for school swimming investment and its roll out across the country

•The need for a joint task force to assess the support and investment required to keep pools open

There was much support for the fact that swimming is unique as a sport and physical activity -  it’s a life skill as well as a sport for life 💙
