This is a typically nonsensical tweet from you Zia. As has been clearly stated, black men in the UK are twice as likely to get prostate center and are more likely to die from prostate cancer than white men. This is a well reasoned and perfectly valid trial and your response does nothing but highlight your lack of comprehension or your unwillingness to read and understand the reasons why this trial is being conducted in this manner.

I am calling on my MP, @ZubirAhmed, to sign EDM 240 and support the rejection of the EHRC’s draft guidance on trans people. This code is not only unfair in principle, it is fundamentally unworkable in practice. As a surgeon within the UK, you will understand better than most how impossible it is to implement guidance that creates confusion, legal risk, and real-world harm across public services. That is before even considering the profound implications for the private sector.

This is not abstract policy. It will affect clinical environments, staffing decisions, patient dignity, and service delivery on the ground. The consequences of getting this wrong are serious and immediate. We have already seen a significant uptick in instances of trans and nonbinary people being harassed simply for using the bathroom, as well as employees being accosted and filmed due to their unwillingness to exclude trans people from changing rooms.

I would ask you directly Zubir: will you sign EDM 240 and stand against guidance that is both unworkable and unjust?
