Happy International Tiger Day! This year is a special one for @LSU because Mike VII turns 10 years old & LSU celebrates 90 years of having a live Tiger mascot. As we celebrate Mike & LSU‘s tradition, we also celebrate the importance of conserving wild tigers.
The team that elevated @NCAABaseball and the #CWS for a whole generation. The 1996 @LSUbaseball team honored prior to first pitch tonight at The Box.

My #LSU thoughts after the weekend:
• We are one of the best batting teams in the country, not just at hitting but also at drawing walks.
• Zach Yorke will be at 1B every game, his defense is as elite as his bat.
• Our pitching is better than some of the stats show.
• Seth Dardar is the truth & will be the everyday second baseman (as I predicted). Plate discipline off the charts and willing to take walks, but will absolutely punish strikes.
• Chris Stanfield injury is lingering longer than initially expected, but it has opened us up to show how much depth we have.
• We may not figure out our solidified pitching roles/rotation until SEC play begins. We have a lot of arms, just a matter of finding out their usage.
• I will always love Lyn Rollins and Ben McDonald.
On this week’s episode of the Light Switch, I interviewed #LSU Chief of Staff @jasontfrench about all the major changes at the flagship over the last few months. #lalege#lagov

What a joy to welcome Mr. Jason French—@LSUpresident Chief of Staff—& his wonderful family for a tour of Mike’s habitat & our campus @LSUVetMed! Thank you @GingerGuttner for giving the French family such a comprehensive, informative, & fun tour! 💜💛#LSU#ScholarshipFirst#WBTTW
LSU announces Woodside Energy as its official Legacy Partner. Woodside will be featured across all LSU teams’ uniforms beginning in the 2026-27 athletic year.
I had the pleasure of interviewing Sarah Bairstow, President of Louisiana LNG for @WoodsideEnergy to discuss their partnership with LSU.
Full interview will be posted everywhere later today but this might have been my favorite part.
Here is Sarah explaining why they chose to use LSU’s colors on the jersey patches instead of Woodside’s red and white logo.
I could not be happier to welcome Meg Casper Sunstrom as the new Chief Communications Officer of the LSU System. @Megcasper’s expertise in strategic communications coupled with her love of @LSU will elevate how we tell our story across Louisiana and the nation. #lalege#lagov
