Fun fact! The Lord of the Rings™ Roleplaying 5E Game uses OGL 1.0a. I'm sure the extremely litigious Tolkien estate will be completely fine with the new OGL 1.1 and giving all of their LOTR properties to Hasbro as a sublicense, for free, forever!

If you sum up qualifying income (20% of what's over $750k) of the top 10 D&D Kickstarters of 2022, it amounts to $760k
D&D makes $300M per year. This would be a 0.25% increase.
Why risk so much bad PR and creating enemies for such a little return @Wizards_DnD ?

We were already unenthused about the changes that WotC is introducing with #OneDnD, and we believe the recent attack on creators contained in the OGL 1.1 to be utterly unacceptable. Until 1.1 is scrapped, we won’t be discussing or working with OneD&D content. #dnd#OpenDnD
