For anyone using #EnergyPlus for building simulation, my fellow @SketchUp extension developer made this powerful tool to make your job much easier!

@SketchUp I will also be giving a special one-off designPH workshop, covering basic to advanced workflows, tips & tricks and some previews of upcoming features.

@NatWest_Help bit of a joke to say "Help reduce plastic waste... got a card reader from another bank, you could use that if yours stops working or goes missing. Please try avoiding ordering a new one if possible.", but can't enable existing one without ordering new one from you!
@singapore62 @ecominimalnick Because it is easier to achieve a low form factor (heat loss area / TFA) on a larger scheme. Hence lower space heat demand / unit of TFA.
@PatrickROsborne@EsTresidder @the_woodlouse @MoreOurselves Here is the AECB webinar mentioned in another thread by Andy. Dragos gives an overview at 32:50, I give a bit more detail at 43:15

@EsTresidder @the_woodlouse There is an aecb member only watch again webinar by the DesignPH software developers that demonstrates recent new features including shading @dme_arch
@PatrickROsborne@EsTresidder @the_woodlouse @MoreOurselves Import (1) to PHPP and copy the summer shading factors to a separate sheet.
Import (2) to the same PHPP, then paste the copied summer shading factors back.
@PatrickROsborne@EsTresidder @the_woodlouse @MoreOurselves Edit the tree component and put leaves in a separate layer.
Run the analysis and export twice, (1) with leaves layer on (summer), (2) with leaves off (winter).
@HattieHartman@SustainableTall @WHurst1 @EvansVettori Nice work Phil. I appreciate it both on a professional / ethical level and as a fellow Derby native who had many formative memories there.
