@michaelbolton Absolutely, there are tons of things that a tester does other than the actual, you know, testing. Automate these first. It will probably be handy should you ever want to automate some of the repetitive testing too.

@michaelbolton I don't think it was necessary to bash automated checks here Michael. Bashing poor testing approaches would have been fine. It's easily possible to miss this stuff with highly prescriptive "manual" tests.

@michaelbolton Using selenium or cypress with declarative, atomic instructions to look for cross browser issues is like putting a new driver in a car and then giving them a really detailed list of steps to drive across a city. Stuff like Applitools is interesting right now though.
