GRATEFUL is how I feel everyday, especially today!

13 years ago today, I was brought back to life after an overdose.
This day means as much to me as my sobriety date (March 18) — because without that supervised consumption site, I wouldn’t be sober… I’d be dead.
Since then:
• Completed treatment
• Rebuilt my life and finances
• Married and became a father of three
• Bought a home
• Built a career in recovery and health care
• help others who are struggling.
• Became a published writer, TEDx speaker, and international public speaker

Not bad for someone they said would never leave a DTES back alley.
Never give up on anyone.
And whatever you do ..... never give up on yourself.
You are worth it! 💪🏼
