The only Active MLB players with longer regular season On-Base Streaks than Nick Kurtz’s current streak (47) are Shohei Ohtani (53) & Tommy Pham back in 2019 - a 48 game streak. As far as active MLB players go, Nick Kurtz is currently tied with Kyle Schwarber for best on-base streaks at 47 games. BUT, there is one active player above them at 48. You could have given me 100 guesses… Hints: 1) he’s currently in the minors 2) his streak ended 4/17/2019 No cheating!

I think these results are correct mostly because: A) Jacob Misiorowski’s lankiness & 100th percentile extension must make it feel like he’s insanely close to the plate at release. B) The Miz has hit 5 batters compared to Skenes’ 4, Burns’ 0 and Miller’s 0.

Troy Melton is expected to make his season debut for the Tigers today. During his rehab stint, he pitched at both Single A & Triple A to the tune of a 1.54 ERA, 0.69 WHIP & 12.34 K/9.
