RDF Spokesperson Brig. Gen. Rwivanga has praised President Kagame's historic decision to order RPA soldiers not to retaliate after stopping the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. #RBANews#Kwibuka32
I am really disappointed and irritated with the way young people (youth) have come to dismiss what it means to take a week of Kwibuka. It is disappointing to see us behave as though we don't have awareness of what's happening and the depth that Kwibuka holds. Shame!
#Kwibuka32 - “Becoming Inkotanyi today is not only a military inheritance. It is a philosophy. It means you do not wait to be believed. It means you do not ask for permission to remember. It means you understand, in your bones, why collective memory is not sentiment. It is security.”
Urakoze cyane @IngridCyitatire for these edifying words. Indeed, Rwanda with all its scars and all its grief and all its beauty, is worth fighting for.
Students of the Rwanda Defence Force Junior Command and Staff Course (RDFJCSC), Intake 26, have commenced the Rwanda Patriotic Army (RPA) Liberation War Study Tour, scheduled from 8 to 10 April 2026. The tour aims to deepen their understanding of how RPA forces liberated Rwanda from poor governance and brought an end to the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
The tour began at the Kagitumba border post, where participants received briefings from RDF generals and senior commanders who were directly involved in the liberation struggle.
The study tour focuses on analysing key battles in order to draw lessons from the strategic, operational, and tactical conduct of the war. These sessions are designed to enhance the students’ understanding of strategic planning and the execution of military operations.

To whom it may concern
It’s been 32 years, and some of you still hold onto the same genocidal ideology. Passing it down, hiding it in denial, twisting history, gathering supporters and plotting & talking about “finishing what you started.”
Don’t think we don’t see it.
And let’s be clear: don’t mistake our commitment to peace and reconciliation for weakness.
#NeverAgain is not a slogan. It is definitely not a cry from victims. It is a stance! It means we are alert, prepared, and will not allow ourselves to be targeted or destroyed again. We know what you’re capable of, and we will stop it before it starts.
#NeverAgain is a warning as much as it is a promise. We are not the same, and we will not stand by and watch history repeat itself.

Enough with the lies. DRC cannot be the ceasefire monitor when you are in reality violating the ceasefire and have no intention of respecting the Washington Accords the DRC just signed. #PoisonMuyaya

Please share this and let the world know that enough is enough.
We suffered once from the Congolese backed FDLR, and it will never happen again.
Western countries quickly impose restrictions on parts of Rwanda whenever the Congolese backed FDLR attacks Rwanda! But they think Rwanda shouldn’t take action to stop the Congolese-backed FDLR.
Enough is enough! If possible we will match and find them where they launch those attacks from.
Rwanda is proud to have hosted this historic UCI Road World Championships. I congratulate all the riders who competed across our capital city for their remarkable achievements and resilience. My sincere appreciation to my friend, David Lappartient @DLappartient, the UCI team, our partners, the security organs who kept the race route secure and the people of Rwanda whose energy and support made #Kigali2025 truly unforgettable.
“Calling for an investigation is not too much to ask. Just investigate, or do the minimum, ask those who did the initial report to do a little more.”
Amb. Martin Ngoga, warns the UN Security Council against falling into the trap of the ideology of further ethnicizing the situation in Eastern DRC, if no further and credible investigations on the issue are done. #RBANews
