This was a really interesting piece of work to be involved in. It is definitely worth a read if you want to understand how high frequency transport data and econometrics can be used to better understand how customers respond to price changes #bigdata#econometrics#pricing

We’ve seen how much @youmeatsix means to all of you this past few days, so here’s a little piece of what they mean to us.
We’ve got some original copies of their first ever CD, released via Slam Dunk Records in 2007, to giveaway.
Just like and retweet for a chance to win!
@TLRailUK I got the 17:31 from London bridge. The 17:16 before was cancelled, and the 18:31 was cancelled. This left one train an hour to Hitchin! On a normal day there are four trains an hour. So you can imagine how busy the train was!
@TLRailUK having one train an hour to Hitchin during rush hour is not sufficient service. I’ve never seen a train so busy! If there is a risk that you will not be able to provide 2 trains an hour as planned during an overtime ban you should say so ahead of time!
@TLRailUK there are not currently any trains from Hitchin to London scheduled on the 19th December until 22:26. Is that because timetables haven’t been updated yet?
