@chriszeuch@InduTripat82427 Yeah, there have been around 30 identical posts over the last few days, and not just on Twitter. Nobody includes a link to the app, so I have to find the posts myself and leave comments)
@Ikryanov@sriram3720 Any channel can work well, but Reddit communities generally don’t like frequent self promotion, so I only post there after major updates, usually once every 1-2 months.
It will definitely ruin your mood, especially if you look at the yearly forecast chart 😅
But it’s also a good opportunity to review some of your subscriptions and see which ones you no longer need.

With Reddit, you need to be careful. People there really dislike spam, and every subreddit has its own rules that you should read carefully. In some communities, you need to spend some time participating before posting anything. Many subreddits do allow self promotion once a month, though. If you prepare properly, it can be a great channel.
@AnuragKashyap_2@RodmanAi Only twice? I’m pretty sure it was posted more than ten times today. Looks like everyone noticed this kind of content gets views and started posting it themselves 😄
My answer is kind of funny, but that’s exactly how it happened:
1) The first app was built just for fun. I picked the first idea that came to mind because I wanted to see whether it was actually possible to build something with AI. That was about two years ago. The project ended up evolving far beyond that, and now it’s used by tens of thousands of people.
2) For the second app, I simply created a design, posted it on Reddit, and said I was building an app while asking for feedback. That gave me a list of features people actually wanted. Since the post gained a lot of traction, it also validated the idea for me. Only after that did I start development.
I occasionally post about the app here and on Threads, but the main distribution channel is the users themselves. They recommend it to each other and share it through their own channels.
I’ve been focused on making the product as good as possible, and only now am I starting to spend more time on marketing.
