Built a small experiment over the last few days: Airdrop for every device, in the browser.

The goal was simple.

Open a URL on two devices and transfer files directly.

The result is,

Whoosh.share — browser based file sharing with no app install, no account, and no server

Building the seamless UX was the challenging part. Making a half-duplex audio handshake reliable enough and feel like a single flow rather than multiple disconnected steps took the most iteration.
