I've just watched footage aired by Citizen TV showing plain-clothes officers shooting at MMU students. Several students are in the hospital now. I've extracted images from the video and amplified them for identification.
The images may not be 100% conclusive, but if you recognize any of the individuals, please share their names below.
This is the legacy of the Ruto government.
Whenever protests break out, and force is used, and the government wants to kill Kenyans, plain-clothes officers seem to appear alongside uniformed police. They are the ones who shoot Kenyans.
Time and again, witnesses report them arriving in Proboxes and Subarus.
We've documented several such cases.
Kenyans deserve answers. Who are these men? Who deployed them? Who will be held accountable if lives are lost?
This is why most Kenyans believe the Ruto government must go.
