@griffschiller Frank would never kill an innocent if he can help it, Loki redeemed himself at this point, whereas Jean here killed and hurt so many without care. Unleashing Hulk like that was a bad choice, hurt both Bruce and Hulk, but also could’ve been catastrophic if not stopped.
@musachaudhry01 Yes, I agree that she cannot trust someone else bc her past, my point was her active hostile attitude, like she haunted Spidey, mocked him, get out of her way to chase down MJ etc, where she can spent that time to find an employee on Damage Control for example, she had resources.
She was in Peter’s flat, can see Peter has tech and info and has relations to avengers and cops etc idk in my head Jean Grey is much more rational, this could be another read on her character ofc.
Right??? Why was she so hostile toward Spidey? She could’ve asked him for help with her powers or simply talked to him more openly. She almost killed MJ, yet Peter still managed to find empathy for her. That was astounding to me.
Don’t know how I’m supposed to sympathize with Jean Grey in the MCU when she’s out there killing random people for no good reason and suffers no real consequences for it. And that’s not even the only evil thing she does.
What an odd way to introduce this pivotal X-Men character.
So many comments, hi, I know Peter is working w/Damage Control; but he is also the friendly neighbourhood spidey, he has powers too, in their initial convo she could mention even briefly how he is on the wrong side, damage control is problematic etc but she only haunted him.

Bruce could’ve made the universal inhibitor, but he knew the risks and how government or damage control could use it and only made one for himself. Peter is so young for now to comprehend that i believe. It’ll be interesting plot in future.

After the fight with Hulk i’ve expected to see more damage on Spidey. Hulk smashed him thru concrete, punched to the ground, he had to bleed hard. Hand beat him more somehow…??

Yet another post but I had to because
WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN, PETER FUCKING PARKER IS THE ONE WHO CREATES THE MCU’S POWER INHIBITOR THAT WILL OPPRESS ALL MUTANTS FOR ETERNITY, WHAT WILL MAGNETO THINK
Tom Holland says he hopes fans take away the importance of community from Peter’s loneliness in SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY.
“I really hope young people everywhere will watch this film and appreciate the importance of community and that you don’t have to do this alone.
In the digital age, it is so easy to sit in your room and waste hours just scrolling, but nothing is better than getting out of the house and socializing with friends.”
Oh, look at me, I'm Tom Holland. I'm married to Zendaya. I did an all-time epic with Nolan. Anne Hathaway and Matt Damon say I'm the best boy. My 4th Spider-Man movie is shattering global box office records. I did the greatest lip sync of all time. I look like THIS.
we need to stop with the tom holland can’t act allegations because there was about 30 minutes straight during brand new day where i was worried he needs to be on suicide watch
