Your morning reminder that in the 10 days since Uvalde, there have been 20 more mass shootings in the United States. In those 20 massacres, 91 were shot and injured and so far, 19 died.
Last week it was arm the teachers. This week it's arm the doctors. But when that white supremacist shot up the black grocery store, guess what they didn't say:
Arm the black people.
I don't know how to break it to you, but...
If UNIVERSAL BACKGROUND CHECKS and RED FLAG LAWS create an insurmountable barrier to you owning a firearm, then you ARE the person we're worried about.
Today’s shooting at my med school hospital in Dayton, OH didn’t even make national news because it was overshadowed by another shooting at another hospital in Tulsa, OK.
I just think it’s funny how those same Republican lawmakers who were tripping over themselves to criticize NBA players about their business dealings with China haven’t said shit about all those PGA players participating in the Saudi Arabia-backed LIV golf event. Gee, wonder why.
A teacher who was murdered in the Uvalde shooting last week, and her husband who died the next day of a grief heart attack, had their funerals today. Then 3 active shootings happened simultaneously tonight, and we had to decide whether to feature all 3 or focus on the deadliest.
This is a great example about how confronting people with facts IS USELESS in the face of their worldview.
This guy just got schooled and shrugged it off, and went right back to being dumb.
At the top of this school year, I refused to buy my Kindergartner light-up shoes she wanted.
