Consulting clients already understand this. If you have a $5k/month retainer and $500 left with two weeks to go, you don’t demand the whole roadmap. You prioritize. You wait for next month’s budget.

Same thing here. You’re subsidized until the allotment runs out, then the reset tops you up. The rage is mostly people who never had to work inside a budget.
