After 31 years, my time at WGN has come to an end. I was one of the veterans laid off 2 weeks ago. It’s been an adventure. I’ll miss making TV magic with some of the best in this crazy business. On to the next chapter..
Hi my beautiful friends,
Many of you have noticed I’ve been off the air again, and I wanted to personally share what’s going on.
I am currently on physician-directed medical leave as I continue treatment for Dysautonomia, a disorder of the autonomic nervous system that affects things like heart rate, blood pressure, and circulation. For me, it can cause significant dizziness, vision changes, brain fog, and sudden drops in blood pressure, making live television unsafe until it’s properly stabilized.
This is not a decision I’ve taken lightly. I love what I do, and I love serving this community. Right now, my focus is following my doctors’ guidance so that I can return safely and consistently.
I miss our mornings together more than I can say. Please know I am working hard, I am not giving up, and my goal is to return as soon as I am medically able.
Thank you for the incredible support so many of you have shown me over the years. It means everything.
Tiffany Stratton says she misses her NXT character and portraying a heel on WWE TV:
"I do miss how my character was down in NXT. I do miss being a heel. I love being a heel and wrestling as a heel, right now I wrestle as a babyface, as a heel I feel like I can be free and just kind of be full Tiffy.
"Whereas right now I reel it back. So I do miss wrestling as a heel, doing backstages and promos as a heel."
