I feel like there is a lot of hot topics in track and field right now to talk about.
Comment what topic you want included in the next episode of Sit & Kick
Overall xc race review:
@sound_running does an incredible job with these events!
&
@NAZ_Elite has to be the most underrated professional running team. Incredible athletes & people. Cool to see the way they absolutely handled the field.
PS: I’m happy, I’m healthy, and I’m giving it a fighting chance every time I toe the line. Idgaf if it’s a 8k in grass, learning the steeple or back in a 1500. Today was a nice ass kicking while feeling like I kicked a bit of it myself.
My personal race review:
I knew going into this race that there was going to be a ton of talent. Pro xc is a combination of freaks from the roads to the track.
I wanted to give myself a fighting chance for an incredible day and found myself between the packs…

The big engine boys took it out quick and I gave myself the position I wanted. Unfortunately, I trickled back but battled each one that came up to me. 5:04 is an ugly close but hell, it’s xc and its about finding limits and my limits continue to be elevated. 🐺📈
Cross country is a lot like life. There are parts that are challenging, parts that you feel in control. Moments of doubt and testing moments.
Startlines, uphills, downhills and finish lines.
& at the end of it all, you embrace knowing everyone just went through it with you.
1,000+ logos of the NCAA schools from D-III to FBS all squished into a pic
and i left off 1 random Power 5 school, wonder how long until someone figures out which one
Congratulations to Ellyse Tingelstad on a runner-up finish at NAIA National championships! Her and I share the same HS coach and roots in Oregon.
it’s awesome to see her growth as an athlete, her time is coming!!
I’m thinking about sending a complete team result prediction for NCAA cross country after looking at nothing but nuttycomb, conference and regional results. I think that’s enough?
