Another update: the kids came back today and asked for hot chocolate again because they went home and didn’t get any last night.

I think the neighborhood kids think my husband is a pushover. They were playing in the blizzard, knocked on our door, and asked him to make them hot chocolate--which he immediately went and did.

Update: they never showed up for the hot chocolate and their shovels are still outside. I think the wind took them. But don’t worry, we added mint rum to the cocoa and drank it ourselves so it wouldn’t be wasted.
