No because I love how Rose & Svetlana weren’t just thrown in & treated as dispensable. Those two women really matter in Shane & Ilya’s lives, they’re so important & such great friends to them. Same with Elena & her role in Scott & Kip’s story. I love how the women were portrayed.
after the finale i’m going to do a challenge called living without heated rivalry it’s where i try to make it through 2026 without going insane until season 2 comes out
I genuinely get so emotional when I watch this scene and think about the impact of this show god I love seeing happy queer storylines this means so much to me
As a russian speaker - this whole monologue was fucking incredible. Give Connor all the flowers, he deserves them so much! And somehow they managed to make this moment and his words even MORE devastating, my whole body is still shaking and I wanna scream #heatedrivalry
this scene in particular really showcases shane‘s autism via asking too many questions to try to understand ilya’s experience ,pov and what exactly he needs to do to comfort him
"we've progressed past the need for coming out stories" i'll venture out and say that we really haven't. as long as it's still scary for people to come out, to feel like they will lose love or safety for being who they are and loving who they love? we still need them idc
Scott did so much for hollanov (unintentionally yes) and françois did so much for connor and hudson, I really love his presence both as scott in the show and as a co-star to the actors 🥹
