@CestGray I feel like this is reductive rhetoric is why “gentrification” isn’t an effective mobilizer for most folks. It’s always black people being “pushed out” which isn’t really what’s happening. Black people, like any other group, make conscious decisions to move. Change is constant
@BrianBooms@awealthofcs Speaking from real life experience of growing up poor with overworked parents, we did a lot of frozen dinners… just heat up the over or pop them in the microwave . Much cheaper than delivery which we considered a luxury for certain paydays lol

That's not true. She could do something. She has a platform and she could speak for Palestinian rights, make phone calls to her contacts, use her power to help other people. But she only thinks of enriching herself and increasing her own status. That's why no one's buying her martyr act.
