I was privileged to know Gene Hackman because he played tennis with another Gene—Gene Wilder. And that Gene told him about a little role called The Blind Hermit in our movie YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN. Veteran R&B and soul singer Angie Stone has tragically passed away at 63 in a tragic car accident. Her career spanned decades, beginning with The Sequence, the first all-female group signed to Sugar Hill Records, where their iconic hit "Monster Jam" helped define early Southern rap. Stone later achieved solo success with her 1999 album Black Diamond, featuring the hit "No More Rain (In This Cloud)," and continued to release influential albums such as Mahogany Sun.
A three-time Grammy nominee, Stone collaborated with music legends like D'Angelo, Prince, and Macy Gray, while also showcasing her acting talents in The Hot Chick and Chicago on Broadway. Her contributions to R&B, soul, and hip hop will continue to inspire. She is survived by her son Michael, daughter Diamond, and two grandchildren.

We already knew @GovWesMoore was 'en vogue', now he's literally in Vogue!
