yeah i’m a christian but i like to think logically sometimes too. you may not believe in God but you have to accept that there is a supernatural being (or beings).
in some religions, they pray and carry rituals for wealth, power, protection, healing, and some other weird ‘JUJU’. and sometimes this thing works if we are being honest. so who do you think is responsible for those answered prayers? scientists? or man himself? (in this context herbalist)
some people do evil and make their fellow man run mad and these things happen real life. once again, who’s responsible for that happening??? and if you think this isn’t real you’re just ignorant of that reality.
so more or less we have to accept there is a being greater than human that have things in control (in the spiritual realm at least)
now if all these i’ve said still doesn’t make any sense to you, ask yourself these questions with an open mind
who made man? how did the first human come about? how did the world come about (in absolute perfection)? who decided all these things in the beginning?
why is (spiritual) repercussion a thing? why are there side effects (repercussion) for evil doings (e.g money ritual)
it would only lead you to the point that there is a supernatural or superior being handling things. now it’s left for you to call it God or whatever name you want to call it
