@rfbarnard@thyphoidjack We called it a STRIM. Saw a demonstration in '71 but never saw or heard of it being used operationally after that. The round resembled a blank but delivered enough oomph to send that grenade 100m+. The recoil was enough to dislocate your shoulder so it was shot from the hip.
