Word is Washington is done. Strong work today (I still would trade Jacoby but that's me). Good moves for the future, but what about now? Toohill can play. JSW can play. Ugly truth but even w Young and Sweat this D is 31st in points allowed. Not much room to go down.
@treball_crandle@jaymoneyhackett He wouldn’t have done this colin, that’s the point. There’s literal examples of him refusing to trade players because he thought they’d resign with us or that the team was competitive. He had 23 years to do something like that to help the team
Update: The #Commanders have already exceeded their total ticket and suite revenue sales compared to the entirety of the 2022 season.
All of this before Training Camp even kicked off.

Hooray!
Now, hire a legit GM. Give him autonomy.
Get rid of #Commanders and let’s go back to the real colors/uniforms/branding.
RFK site.
A chance now to be a functional organization.
Josh Harris on buying the Commanders: “We look forward to running a world-class organization and making significant investments on and off the field to achieve excellence and have a lasting and positive impact on the community.”
Hard to overstate how well received the news of the sale of the Commanders will be in the DC area.
List of priorities for the new owner in no particular order:
Build at RFK site.
Ditch Commanders name and look.
Go back to Burgundy and Gold - Call it Football Club - whatever.
Most importantly: Nothing united this area like this team. People who experienced that just need an on ramp to come back. A reason. Give them one.
Statement from Commanders Co-Owners Tanya and Dan Snyder: “We are very pleased to have reached an agreement for the sale of the Commanders franchise with Josh Harris, an area native, and his impressive group of partners. We look forward to the prompt completion of this transaction and to rooting for Josh and the team in the coming years.”
The Josh Harris group has reached a preliminary agreement to buy the Commanders from Daniel Snyder for $6.05 billion, per sources. It is not exclusive, the deal is not signed, and the group led by Steve Apostolopoulos still is involved in the process.
24 yrs of Snyder sucked the life out of one of the most passionate fan bases in sports. The majority stopped going to gms, stopped watching gms. This NFL city is a shell of what it was. Reviving it could only happen w/Dan's exit. The damage done is severe. Recovery starts now.
