@AaronRo07561333 We all want to advocate solutions that can fully decarbonise rail as one of the most sustainable forms of mass transit. Ceasing Fossil Fuel extraction ASAP to avert climate feedbacks that will lead to sea level rise, intensify extreme weather events & coastal flooding.

@AaronRo07561333 All good discussion & I agree with the challenges & cost complexities with modernising our network that was designed/built over 100 ago. Sorry, the Dawlish reference was to a side thread related to other non-elec IC lines.
