Today something unexpected happened.

I ordered food through Zomato. The delivery partner had delivered to my home several times before, so I recognized him.

After handing over the order, he hesitantly asked, "Bhaiya, can I have a glass of water?"

I invited him in. He left his raincoat outside, came in, and I gave him some water. That's when I noticed his eyes were red, as if he had been crying.

I asked, "What happened?"

He quietly replied, "Kuchh achha nahi hai, bhaiya."

I asked again, and he told me that early this morning his mother had slipped from the stairs. She was in the ICU and her condition was unstable. The next train to his hometown was at 11 PM, and the journey would take nearly 30 hours.

He said, "I don't even know if I'll be able to see her in time."

I asked if he had eaten anything.

He said, "No."

So we shared the same meal together.

After that, I searched for flights on Skyscanner. I found one for around ₹4,000 and booked it for him.

He looked worried and said, "Mai kabhi airport nahi gaya."

I smiled and told him, "Don't worry. My friend is there. He'll help you."

A few hours later, he reached home, met his mother, and called to thank me.

The doctors now say she is expected to recover within the next 12–24 hours.

Sometimes, changing someone's life doesn't take millions of rupees.

Sometimes it takes a glass of water, a meal, and a ticket home.

Be kind.

You never know when you might become someone's miracle. ❤️

80-year-old Rabindranath Sarkar still drives a taxi from 6 AM to 10 PM just to survive.

At 12 years old, Keshav saw a problem that many adults had overlooked.

To him, it didn't make sense.

He began collecting unused books from family, friends, and neighbours, believing that knowledge should be shared, not forgotten.

What started as a simple donation drive soon grew into something much bigger.

Today, his initiative, **Pekabook**, has helped distribute more than **15,000 books** to students, schools, libraries, NGOs, and underserved communities.

But this story is about more than numbers.

It's about empathy.

It's about understanding that education can change lives and that even a single book can open a world of possibilities for a child.

Most importantly, it's a reminder that making a difference doesn't require power, money, or age.

It only requires the willingness to care.

Keshav didn't wait until he was older.

He didn't wait until he had more resources.

He simply started.

And in doing so, he proved that one small idea can grow into a movement that impacts thousands.

Her name is Sarita Kashyap, single mother for the past 20 years.

She has a daughter who is studying in college. To support her family, she runs a Rajma Chawal (kidney beans and rice) stall on her scooter near a CNG pump in Peeragarhi, Delhi. The prices are:

Half plate: 40 rupees

Full plate: 60 rupees

But...

Even if you don't have money, she won't let you go hungry. She'll feed you, saying, "Eat, pay when you can, or don't pay at all," regardless of your caste, religion, or community.

She feeds poor children in her neighborhood for free, and buys them school supplies, books, uniforms, shoes – anything they need. 

And yes...she also tutors the children in her free time.

Has any channel highlighted this woman?

No...

Because there's no glamour in this woman's story.

Anyway, I salute this woman from the bottom of my heart.

May she earn a lot and achieve great success in her life...

This is not a movie story. A real miracle happened in the state of Assam.

Soberan, a 30-year-old man, earned his living by selling vegetables. He was not married yet.

One evening, while returning home after work, he heard the sound of a baby crying from the bushes near the road.

When he went to check, he found a new born baby girl left alone on a garbage pile. The child had been abandoned. Soberan looked around, but no one was there. The baby was innocent, cute, and beautiful. Not knowing what else to do, he took her home with him.

He decided to raise the baby himself instead of getting married. He named her Jyoti.

He worked hard every day and night to take care of her, making sure Jyoti never faced any hardship. He sent her to school and fulfilled all her needs.

Even if he went hungry, he never let her suffer. Jyoti completed a degree in Computer Science in 2013. She then began preparing for competitive exams.

She passed the Public Service Commission exam in 2014 and got a job as an Assistant Commissioner in the Income Tax Department.

Soberan cried with joy when he saw his daughter achieve something he never had the chance to do.

Jyoti now takes care of her father, but even after all her requests, he still continues to run his vegetable business.

Soberan told the media, "I didn’t pick up a girl from that garbage dump. I picked up a diamond. She is the light of my life."

Both of them are truly inspiring people.

Booked a Tatkal Sleeper ticket today from kanpur central to New Delhi.

Filled every detail in seconds, but IRCTC kept showing- "We are experiencing high load."

Tried repeatedly, Then my ID got locked out. Minutes later, every seat was gone.

So the question is - who actually gets these Tatkal tickets?
Genuine passengers or a system designed to fail common people every morning?

If lakhs of users face the same "high load" issue daily, why has it still not fixed it?

Or is the chaos itself benefiting someone?

@aravind I think tata salt imuno is a better option as it has both iodine and zinc. I don't think we need the other minerals found in pink salt as often as the pink salt eaters would eat it. It is my idea though with very little knowledge. Doctors will be able to say better.

Saw this young delivery boy in our society this morning, carrying quick commerce deliveries.

Had a brief chat with him. He is a college student in Bhubaneswar, working part-time on a delivery platform. Sundays are full work days for him since college remains off.

He lost his father a year ago, who worked in a small private company. No pension for the mother, no savings left for the family. But, this young boy chose responsibility over excuses.

Today, he is managing his studies and expenses in Bhubaneswar through hard work and dignity, while also sending some money back to his mother, who lives in a village about 150 km away.

Stories like these remind you how many silent fighters walk among us every day.

@ask_urlawyer @AnshulGarg1986 @hiteshpant @aravind See - on days you eat 1500 can and total burn remains around 1700, the deficit is within 200 range. That is why you see 2kg on scale. If you want faster weight loss. Try to push the deficit to 750 or higher.
