Had a TPK in #dnd. Talked to my players and we are taking a break with some other players jumping in to run games before returning back to the story. Going to pick up with a new crew looking into what happened to the group.
What’s been your TPK stories? Does it kill games?
So one of my players came over to drop off a gift. My nephews heard he played in my game then asked who he played. Then recounted their favorite bits his character and the others did. I guess that’s one plus for playing only online.
How do you handle downtime in #DnD? I am thinking of using Blades in the Dark downtime activities along with the base downtime activities to give it a little more structure. Also add specific projects to work on.
Oof. Been kind of quiet recently as end of year work piled up. Slowly got back into the groove of writing up magical sci-fi items for my next #DnD campaign. I REALLY hope these players get on board for planar madness.
In this weeks #ttrpg Sunday Blades game, the gang sold some drugs and still did not kill anyone. Instead they got beat up. Still one of my favorite games but sort of itching to start the new 5e campaign.
Played Blades in the Dark for the first time in awhile. The players are hawkers and instead of being very violent murder machines are trying to be diplomatic and have yet to kill anyone. Even did a score rather stealthily.
Theres growth for murderhobos.
@quinnthegm Campaign: The players are a group of Plane Walkers traveling to different planar environments to retrieve magic/resources for their extra-dimensional home city. They are looking to get back home as they travel through the planes.
