He can be heard pleading with her to move, saying he hadn’t done anything and asking her to back away

Moments later, four gunshots are heard. Investigators said Brooks had called police earlier after reporting she found a bullet on her car

Authorities said the man told investigators Brooks grabbed a gun, leading him to pull his own and open fire

The shooting happened in front of her two children, ages 4 and 8
