@ashleyschendel I travel often w my family. We're debt free & enjoy where we live. We also enjoy experiencing the world with our kids. Wouldn't trade those memories for anything.
@jennifer_rileyx@tomselliott@AOC I would wager that it is actually no small feat to manage multiple chains. If you've ever managed more than 3 ppl, you know HR is a real thing. Someone also has to watch the finances, PR, etc.
I have no degree, but still had to hire those who do for their expertise.
@midasdidit@tomselliott@AOC Do the consumers buy the lab alternative?
Once upon a time, I was 16 & needed a job. Thank goodness those entry-level jobs didnt go away just bc the restaurant was popular.
As a business, why would they go down on price if the market will pay a higher price?
@Casey_Kno@KalanisCalves@MonitoringBias I literally employ engineers. Lol.
When you say that owning a business is not building something, what exactly do you mean by that?
If literally building- sure.
Otherwise, your response leads me to believe you have not owned a business & can only theorize.
@santapresidente @KalanisCalves And when one pays for the labor, does it provide a living?
If you were fired from your job today, would you feel stressed? Why? Bc you now have to go hope that someone else will hire you to provide you wages for your labor (provide a living).
@SquatPlugs@KalanisCalves@MonitoringBias I've never met a business owner (who actually employs) in real life who feels this way.
Running a business is hard.
What specifically do you feel is exploiting?
@Casey_Kno@KalanisCalves@MonitoringBias They had to close bc you left? No. They acted a business owner & recruited more talent (easier said than done).
Its always easy to tell those who have actually built something apart from those who only have business theory.
@disciple96@honorablesaint I'm Pentecostal & wld welcome friendly debate. The Bible refers to praising Him with a shout, a loud cymbal, dancing, etc. The description of the 1st church is one where onlookers thought they were drunk.
Charismatic worship doesnt mean you can't have depth in your relationship
@DanWolken It made more sense when rosters had retention since it gave your extra weeks of practice & games. Today, you're time as a coach is better spent retooling your roster.
