For 210 parliamentarians to have gone through 540 037 submissions in 90 days it means that each MP read 2381 submission. But here is the interesting part, each MP should have sat on a panel so that they could all hear what every submission is saying for them to get the national sentiment. That means reading 6000 submissions a day or 250 submissions an hour for 24 hrs everyday over 90 days. So do we believe that parliament read 540 000 submissions? It’s practically impossible.
But when listening to these MPs arguing, do they sound like they are speaking from a position of being informed after reading 540 000 submission?
