Thank You His Excellency John Dramani Mahama @JDMahama for giving Hope to Ghanaians, especially the Ghanaian Woman. Your decision to choose Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang is not only to give Ghana the first female Vice President, but to bring illumination to why the WOMAN
I joined Prophet Daniel Amoateng of the Power of Worship International yesterday, to cut sod in my beloved constituency to commence the construction of resettlement houses for some 100 displaced persons who are still putting up in classrooms.
My good friend and brother, Prophet Amoateng will also refreshingly construct a branch of his church and establish a farm to create jobs.
We are eternally in his debt for this extremely thoughtful and comprehensive generosity which takes care of the physical and spiritual welfare of flood victims.
Grateful to my revered chiefs for the free land donation.
God bless the man of God.
In this together, rising together. 🙏🏾
Every young person must be interested in the #24HourEconomy conversation. This Policy is not only a game changer as many see and say but a life transformation policy to many young people who have been unemployed and also those who have been self employed
Those who doubt it are engaging in a knee jerk reaction to discredit the policy without providing no an alternative. I will edge every young and reasonable Ghanaian citizen to support the policy by ensuing @JDMahama is voted to implement such historic idea for us all.

Honestly, I don’t think we should be campaigning in North Tongu at this time when we are faced with the worst catastrophe in a lifetime which has displaced 12,633 including some 6,100 children, destroyed over 1,500 houses, damaged 53 schools & claimed properties/livelihoods worth billions of Cedis.
This is the time to put partisanship aside and come together as community leaders to find solutions and relief to our beloved constituents who have been rendered destitute and made pathetic refugees in classrooms by the VRA-induced floods.
I refuse to be drawn into any partisan campaign at this crucial hour — it is insensitive, callous, offensive and an unforgivable betrayal.
We must rather campaign to save our dear constituents.

The NPP government has once again gathered people to demonstrate their happiness with the government taxing us more and refusing to cut down on its expenditure. Meanwhile, you cannot register your displeasure at the government without threats of arrest and other brutalities
John Mahama’s #24HourWorkingEconomy: Ghana’s Path to Economic Revival?
Ghana, like many developing nations, has faced a multitude of economic challenges in recent years. High inflation, mounting debt, rising unemployment rates, and sluggish economic growth have all contributed to the strain on the country’s economy. However, there is renewed hope on the horizon as John Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Flagbearer, unveils a transformative policy innovation – the 24-hour economy.
This visionary concept has the potential to be a game-changer for Ghana, offering sustainable solutions to the nation’s pressing economic issues while following in the footsteps of other successful developing economies.
Understanding the 24-Hour Economy
The idea behind a 24-hour economy is to encourage and enable businesses to operate around the clock. This entails extended working hours, particularly for sectors such as manufacturing, services, and entertainment, to stimulate economic activity. While it may seem ambitious, this concept has proven effective in several developing economies.
One of the most compelling aspects of the 24-hour economy is its potential to generate sustainable employment. By expanding working hours and creating a flexible work environment, businesses can increase their productivity and, consequently, their need for a larger workforce. This results in more job opportunities for Ghanaians, reducing the country’s persistently high unemployment rate. The policy is also likely to enhance skill development and foster entrepreneurship as businesses innovate to meet the demands of a 24-hour economy.
Learning from Successful Models
Ghana can draw inspiration from countries that have successfully implemented the 24-hour economy model. For instance, South Korea has a thriving nightlife and shopping scene that contributes significantly to its economy. The country is known for its “work hard, play hard” culture, which has created a vibrant and dynamic labor market. Similarly, cities like New York and Singapore have 24-hour financial districts that have attracted international businesses, boosting their economies.
