all over the East African coast for years - 138 of them just in 2023. Going dark on trackers, trawling everything, even shark-finning.

In Malindi and around Mombasa, they load 15-20 tonnes of crabs, lobsters and fish in one trip, while our local fishermen come back with almost nothing.

Our fishermen are now forced to go deeper into the sea, risking their lives just to catch something for their families.

And our leaders? Still smiling for Chinese money while coastal people are suffering.

This is pure robbery. It must end.
