@JakeSharpeBBC@DavidMckay79 That whole clip his eyes are fixed on where the keeper is and what he's doing rather than the ball. Very much knows what he's doing and what his intention is. As good as his goal scoring record is unfortunately this sort of gamemanship has been his modus operandi all too often.
@salopcast Shame...only progressive and forward thinking he's ever done, albeit only done to force out someone he wanted rid of. Yet another in a long list of failures by the great dictator.
@martinberry17@MeadowShrew Mostly, like the first Hurst season, a small squad running themselves into the ground for each other and the club finally had fatigue and injuries catching up with them. If only we strengthened with a couple of bodies in the building (to quote another great manager) in Jan
@Salop1977@FAspokesperson TBF isn't attempted violent conduct considered the same as if contact is made. So they've got a point to an extent. But it was one of those that you see given either way.
@salopcast@salopriley 😂 Good luck with that, not sure Riley can do anything to help you there. Only one man can do something to get people coming back through the turnstile at Salop
@TheDanHough@benmorris1886 Pretty much, Udoh got 10 in 40 and 13 in 46 then Bowman in his highest scoring season for us did 10 in 42. The. After that got to go back to Okenbirhie 10 in 38, Payne 11 in 41, Nolan 10 in 46. All in more in infinitely better attacking, organised and stronger in general teams
@TheDanHough@benmorris1886 Huge constant prob under MA, forwards not having support behind them, the midfielders in the hole preferring, or naturally drifting out wide meaning the forwards Marquis', Lloyd etc. have to drift back to fill the hole. Then when the ball gets whipped in they can't get on the end
@TheDanHough@benmorris1886 Ok but only 7 times in the last 13 years have we had a player get into double figures. Doing so, as I say in a vastly worse side that finished rock bottom is a fantastic return. That's not his fault though is it, he's being a captain and playing where and in the role asked.
@benmorris1886@TheDanHough Only three times in the last 10 years has someone equalled or scored more than he did last season. Let alone doing it in one of the poorest and most impotent attacking sides in the club's 140 year history.
@swfc_98@ellis_platten I mean you have had 3 more wins than us in the last 2 seasons and you scored about the same last season as we have in the last 2 and a promotion somewhat recently...can't we all just agree that being a proper football fan means misery. Here's to better times for us all.
@salopcast Is it banter? Perfectly honest take imo. It was an incredibly negative set up followed by an equally negative performance. Wish I didn't have to watch us every week. We all deserve plaudits for putting up with what has been deemed acceptable by the club hierarchy in recent years
@AnalysisShrews Hope so, Watching the highlights from this season I wouldn't expect him to make an impact this season looks some way off. Don't think should expect too much from the lad ATM especially in our position. fingers crossed though.
He's got big, well not big, but shoes to fill anyway
