Response to Recent Concerns Regarding NEAT

We appreciate the feedback from the NEAR community regarding @inscriptionneat 's recent participation in Ref's meme season. We want to clarify our position and the intentions behind.

On December 2, 2024, we announced our repositioning as an “AI meme coin”, a strategic shift that aligns with our ongoing development of promoting the AI ecosystem on NEAR. Our partnership with Sender AI, announced on November 6, 2024, aims to create an AI-driven Adaptive Proof of Stake (APoS) mechanism and Multi-Agent Consensus, reinforcing our dedication to innovative technology.

It’s disappointing to witness FUD that spreads negativity within the NEAR ecosystem, especially when it hampers the progress of projects striving to innovate and grow. Our participation in meme season is not self-serving; it is aimed at connecting our dedicated user base to other promising projects on NEAR.

Looking ahead to 2025, we will prioritize the ecosystem development of AI coins on NEAR and explore more collaborations with like-minded projects. Any rewards from the meme season will be reinvested into our community campaigns, benefiting NEAR users directly. In addition, we will soon announce plans of buy-backs of NEAT using the proceeds from our revenue streams.

For those questioning our contributions to NEAR, it’s important to remember that NEAT was the first inscription on NEAR, achieving a historical record of 13.19 million transactions on NEAR in just 24 hours and burning over 200,000 NEAR tokens. We reached over 22,000 unique users (most of which are outside of the NEAR ecosystem) without any external funding, and our commitment to NEAR remains strong as we strive to contribute to user-owned AI.
