Today I hit $25,000 USD earned since I started working in tech, mainly game development and content creation.

I called my parents to celebrate. Their response was basically, "okay cool, btw did you remember to do the laundry?"

I repeated myself, and got told, "stop playing around with this shit and get a real job."

Its hard to keep pushing when the people closest to you dont really support or understand what youre doing.
