It's hard for me to explain to those outside #Uganda just how irritated the Ugandans are to be lumped in with DRC for the #Ebola epidemic. As of this writing, there have been hundreds of deaths and over 1000 cases in Congo, whereas Uganda has had only 9 cases -- three Congolese, four medical workers who treated them, one driver who drove them, and one other known contact. Only one person has died in Uganda, a Congolese.
So when WHO and Al Jazeera talks about the Ebola epidemic in "Congo and Uganda," it's like saying because there are wildfires in California, you should cancel a trip to the Grand Canyon because some Californians lit a campfire there. Yes, it is possible it *could* spread and you have to be vigilant, but these two situations are nowhere near the same magnitude.
As of this writing, the only Ugandan death has been the tourism industry.
Beats my understanding why they had to excavate the whole place and then leave! All of Old Kla is a mess! Businesses are dying, pedestrians and children crossing roads are in grave danger and @KCCAUG is not bothered! #StandupandSpeakup#KeepKampalaClean#Mutuyambe
Humble appeal to @KCCAUG or whoever is in charge of fixing Gadaffi Road in front of the Aga Khan school @akesuganda, Martin Road and all the old Kla roads .. pse finish the job you started! Schools and the rains have started, there was 3months holiday.....@KCCAED1@ntvuganda
@KagutaMuseveni Shwenkuru, pse be advised... The injured need the 5 million and not 1 million. Treating accident injuries is very expensive. The insurance companies of the cars involved will and should compensate everyone too..

@PyeparFaisal@KCCAUG@KCCASpox@KCCAED@BenonKigenyi@kyofakabuye2@NRMOnline Man the amount of litter I've seen around Kololo Airstrip, I don't think I've ever seen before in any campaign season!! Eeeeeh! The level of impunity; the "four legs bad, two legs good" mentality of the @NRMOnline is embarrassing to say the least! Such a disgrace!
