​Ahmad Mudhoffar, pengasuh Pondok Pesantren Al-Husna Internasional, Mayong, Jepara, Jawa Tengah, menyatakan secara tegas penolakan terhadap program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG).

Penolakan ini berlaku bagi seluruh keluarga besar Al-Husna, mulai dari jenjang KBIT, TKIT, SDIT, SD Tahfiz, SMPIQ, hingga SMAIQ.

​Ia menganggap tindakan menerima program MBG selama beberapa bulan terakhir sebagai sebuah dosa, sehingga pihak pondok pesantren memutuskan untuk bertobat dan menghentikannya.

​Berdasarkan kaidah agama, memfasilitasi atau menolong terjadinya perbuatan yang haram/maksiat hukumnya adalah haram.

​Penolakan keras ini didasari oleh keyakinan bahwa pengelolaan program MBG dari hulu hingga hilir telah menjadi sarana ajang korupsi besar-besaran, yang menurutnya hal ini sudah nyata terjadi dan bukan sekadar prasangka lagi.
