Hot off the press this week. A go-to resource to help businesses & organisations grow food tourism. We loved filling with #Ballintaggart farm, too 🍴🍓🥕#scotfoodtourism @scotfooddrink

IZ IT MOSSGIEL? (shares very much appreciated)
So eh, this is awkward
We’ve had some mooz to say that some peeps in Scotland have been delivered milk and told it’s from Mossgiel, but when they contacted us to ask something about a delivery or about the milk itself – it’s not been ☹️
Even worse; the milk delivered isn’t even organic – so that’s not even legal, twice.
So, we thought we’d let you know how to spot a bottle of Mossgiel out in the wild!
It used to be easy – as we had Rabbie Burns head printed on every bottle; but we discovered that a high number were making their way to other dairies who were SMASHING them, and the carbon hoofprint of bottle printing was VERY high due to the need of a furnace - so we invested in unique foil caps instead; that way we could use clear bottles over, and over, and over to reduce our waste and carbon hoofprint.
Now though, every pint bottle of whole and semi Mossgiel says so on the lid, with Rabbie giving you a wee wink to say thanks for your investment 😉
Our Cow with Calf milk has a gold foil – and says ‘COW WITH CALF’ in print on top.
1L glass bottles – they’ll soon ALL be printed on the glass, as we work with a new print supplier who has found a way to reduce the carbon footprint of doing so by over 90%! (More info coming soon on that). In the meantime, you’ll see ‘Mossgiel’ printed on the lid and a biodegradable seal around the cap.
5, 21 and 50L buckets – they all come with a label on the side.
So, unless your little bottle says Mossgiel on the cap – or your bucket on the side, it’s not Mossgiel in the bottle. No matter what the seller tells you.
Did you also know that the term ‘organic’ is protected by law – not just in the UK, but worldwide? So, if someone claims their product is organic and they can’t back it up – they may be crying over more than spill#honesty
If you'd like to sign up to one of our verified delivery partners who work right across Scotland, please fill in our online form and we can put moo in touch - https://t.co/ngOiK7xeAG
Any shares to spread the word would be very much appreciated ❤️
