March 2 is Baloch Culture Day, and today we proudly affirm that the identity and foundation of the Baloch nation lie in its culture, language, and history, which have been preserved for thousands of years. We, the Baloch people, have carried our identity and traditions through centuries of change.
Oppressive and occupying states such as Pakistan and Iran have relentlessly tried to distort the culture, language, and history of the Baloch nation. Yet to this day, the Baloch remain deeply connected to their heritage.
We salute their resilience and wish everyone a meaningful Baloch Culture Day. Congratulations to the Baloch people around the world.

From Republic of Balochistan,
To,
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan
President of the United Arab Emirates
Ruler of Abu Dhabi
Dated: 2nd March 2026
Your Highness, @MohamedBinZayed
In response to Iran’s ongoing aggression against the Gulf countries, and in order to counter Tehran’s decades-long proxy wars and its policy and ambitions of maintaining instability in the region, Abu Dhabi and other Arab leaders must now openly support the freedom of Iranian-occupied Balochistan. We also have a large population residing and contributing in developmental and administrative initiatives in the Gulf States. The Baloch community in the Gulf plays an important role in national unity and in strengthening cultural ties.
In light of Iran’s continued attacks on the UAE, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Iraq, and other states that feel their security is threatened by Iranian actions should recognize the independence and security of Balochistan. They should declare the maritime and airspace of Balochistan, Al-Ahwaz, and Kurdistan a no-fly zone for Iran, and immediately provide anti-aircraft and defense systems to the Baloch, Kurdish, and Arab forces.
As an urgent step, the Gulf countries can invite the leadership of Balochistan, Kurdistan, and Al-Ahwaz for an emergency summit to organize an international conference and establish a regional alliance against Iran and Pakistan. Embassies of Balochistan, Kurdistan, and Al-Ahwaz should be opened worldwide. From now on, oil, gas, minerals, and the Strait of Hormuz should be entrusted to these non-Persian nations comprising of 50% Iranian poppulation, who control a major share of Iran’s oil-producing regions and its coastline. Balochistan, Kurdistan, Al-Ahwaz, and the Azeri states would be in a position to intercept Iranian missiles before they reach the Gulf or Israel.
The independence of Balochistan is also in the greater strategic interests of the United States. China is expanding its footprint in the warm waters of Gwadar and Chabahar. An independent and friendly Balochistan would prevent hostile powers from consolidating long-term strategic naval and economic dominance in these critical maritime corridors.
An independent Balochistan is equally in the greatest strategic interest of India. With Baloch-owned and Baloch-ruled Gwadar and Chabahar ports, New Delhi would gain reliable access and potential basing opportunities that could secure and protect its maritime trade routes. It would significantly reduce strategic threats emerging from the Arabian Sea region.
Furthermore, once Balochistan and Sindh are liberated, Pakistan would effectively lose its illegal control over the Balochistan and Sindh coastline. In such a scenario, the remaining territory centered on Punjab would become landlocked and would no longer have direct access to the sea. This would fundamentally alter regional naval dynamics and eliminate the strategic rationale for Pakistan maintaining a navy.
Such opportunities arise only once in centuries. Arab leadership must act immediately, unite Balochistan and other friendly forces, and make decisive decisions. If delayed, there is a strong possibility that Iranian missile barrages could cause unprecedented damage to the economies, security, and infrastructure of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other Arab countries.
At this moment, Balochistan, Kurdistan, Al-Ahwaz, and other nations can prove to be your most reliable strategic partners. This opportunity should not be wasted.
The Republic of Balochistan,
Mir Yar Baloch

Welcome to #UnitedFreeBalochistan.
We have 2,000km long coast of Makuran.
Ancient leaders recognized sea control's value early. Themistocles, Athenian statesman around 480 BCE, is attributed with saying "He who controls the sea controls everything," as noted by Cicero, emphasizing naval power in battles like Salamis where Greeks defeated Persians by severing supply lines.
@hyrbyair_marri
Patriots,
Let's debate the map, and ground realities.
2nd March 2026
The white portion of the map represents areas predominantly inhabited by Persian populations (including supporters of both the clerical establishment and the Pahlavi legacy), while the remaining 50% populations of these regions correspond to territories of non-Persian ethnic nations.
Should the United States, Israel, and Gulf states currently facing missile and drone threats extend support to these non-Persian nations, Iran’s strategic position would be fundamentally weakened.
Despite its geographic size, Iran’s access to maritime routes and the majority of its hydrocarbon resources are concentrated in regions inhabited by non-Persian peoples, including Azerbaijan, Balochistan, Kurdistan, Al-Ahwaz, Luristan, and Qashqai territories. This distribution underscores the critical geopolitical and economic significance of these regions.

And we all will celebrate Eid and Holi together without Pakistan on the world's map.

Pakistan has repeatedly carried out unprovoked airstrikes and drone attacks against Afghan civilians, flagrantly violating international laws. The international community’s silence in the face of Pakistan’s repeated onslaught on both Afghanistan and Balochistan amounts to complicity. This inaction has effectively given Pakistan a free hand to continue disregarding the sanctity of International conventions and the rights of both the Afghan and Baloch peoples.
If the world had not remained silent when Pakistan occupied Afghan territories under the so-called Durand Line, a forced dismemberment of Afghanistan and Balochistan by the British Empire had not been perpetrated, the situation would have been different today the region would not be facing today's geopolitical catastrophe
The Afghan people and their historians argue that Abdul Rahman Khan never consented to and did not sign this agreement. The Afghan nation has consistently rejected its validity over the past century through multiple collective decisions of the grand council (Loya Jirga). Yet, Pakistan persists in claiming Afghanistan as its so-called “fifth province.”
Additionally, Pakistan has illegally and forcibly occupied Balochistan, where it continues to commit war crimes against the Baloch people. Afghanistan and Balochistan must unite in resistance against Pakistan’s aggression and its territorial violations of their homelands.
Throughout history, the Baloch and Afghan peoples have stood together against foreign invaders. For example, the Baloch put up a stiff resistance and hindered the British from attacking Afghanistan through the Bolan Pass in Balochistan, which led to the British assault on multiple Baloch cities and tribes and on Kalat Fort which resulted in the martyrdom of Baloch ruler Khan Mehrab Khan and heavy losses on both sides, British and the defenders of Balochistan.
The Baloch have a proud history of resistance. In 1709 Baloch warriors rose up and stood shoulder to shoulder in support of Mirwais Khan Hotak in his struggle for independence from the Persian Safavids. The Baloch played a decisive role in at least three significant battles that turned the tables and led to the defeat of the Persians, including the Battle of Gulnabad, the Siege of Isfahan in 1702, and the Battle of Khabis, where the Baloch, using hit-and-run tactics, wore down the Persians and broke their morale. Subsequently, the Persians surrendered to Afghan aspirations.
It is time for the Afghan and Baloch peoples to once again unite in resistance against the Punjabi hegemony over Balochistan and Afghanistan. Together, we must defeat Pakistan’s ambitions to occupy either Afghanistan or Balochistan.
A free Balochistan will have no reason to quarrel with its neighbours, especially Afghanistan and India. After India and Pakistan's recent conflict in May 2025, Pakistan closed its airspace to Indian international flights (which is mostly Balochistan's airspace), causing almost a billion dollars in losses in the past ten months. A free Balochistan will not close its airspace to its neighbours just for the sake of being a bully. The Baloch will not permit Pakistan to use their airspace or land to launch attacks against their neighbouring nation, Afghanistan.
Once Balochistan becomes independent, Punjab will be landlocked and will have no choice but to rejoin its motherland, India. Currently, the Punjabi army survives by exploiting Balochistan’s stolen resources and trying to deceive international investors by showcasing these resources as their own.
Recently, the OIC, Arab and Muslim governments have condemned remarks made by the US Ambassador to Israel who suggested 'Israel would be justified in taking over a vast stretch of the Middle East on Biblical grounds'. But surprisingly, the OIC and these Muslim states remain hypocritically silent about the occupation of Balochistan and Kurdistan and forced mass displacement and killings of these two nations by Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Syria and Iraq
The terrorist state of Pakistan wiped out his entire family members in air strikes in Behsud, Nangarhar, a small child survived while the rest of his family was killed.
His relatives keep telling him that his siblings are in the hospital, trying to shield him from the heartbreaking truth.
Crying, he pleads: “Please take me to my mother… my sister… my brothers.”
His tears speak louder than any words ever could.

In Tirah, people from District Orakzai staged a protest in front of a military post against the killing of civilians by mortar shelling carried out by the terrorist Pakistan army. The video shows that the protesters were unarmed and had nothing in their hands, yet direct fire was opened on them. As a result, four people were reported killed and several others injured. In the Pashtun homeland, bullets are being fired directly at those who demand justice and their rights.

International Mother Language Day, observed annually on 21 February, is a day on which the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) stands in solidarity with all nations and communities across the world whose languages, identities, and cultural expressions have been marginalized, suppressed, or erased. This day is not merely symbolic for the Baloch people; it is a solemn reminder of the inseparable bond between language, identity, dignity, and survival.
International Mother Language Day was proclaimed by UNESCO in 1999 and has been observed globally since 2000. The date commemorates the historic Language Movement of 1952 in Dhaka, when students sacrificed their lives to demand recognition of Bangla as a state language. In 1952, in what was then East Pakistan (now Bangladesh), peaceful demonstrators were killed for asserting their linguistic rights. Their struggle affirmed a universal truth: that language is not merely a means of communication but the foundation of cultural identity, historical memory, collective consciousness, and existence. The international community's recognition of this day reflects a global commitment to linguistic diversity and the protection of endangered languages.
The Baloch nation is home to multiple languages, each shaped by centuries of history and collective experience. These languages carry our poetry, our oral traditions, our stories of existence or resistance, our values, and our ways of understanding our land and world. They are not relics of the past; they are living expressions of who we are today and give us a sense of belonging.
A mother language is the first home we ever know. It is the sound of love in a parent’s voice, the rhythm of lullabies, the warmth of stories whispered at dusk. Through it, we learn not only words but who we are. It shapes our thoughts, steadies our confidence, and roots us in a sense of belonging that no other language can fully replace.
In our mother tongue, we do not simply speak; we remember. We carry the wisdom of our ancestors, the songs of our land, and the heartbeat of our community. It binds us to our people and to the soil beneath our feet.
On this day, the Baloch Yakjehti Committee reaffirms that safeguarding the languages of the Baloch nation is essential to preserving our identity and cultural continuity, our belonging, our memory, our civilization, and what we know. We call for practical and meaningful steps to promote mother-tongue education, support literary and cultural initiatives, and ensure that our languages have a rightful place in public life.
We also call upon the Baloch people, especially the younger generation, to speak their languages with pride, write in them, teach them, and carry them forward without hesitation. The strength of a nation lies in the strength of its voice. When a language survives, a people remain rooted and resilient.
On this International Mother Language Day, we renew our commitment to linguistic dignity, cultural resilience, and the universal right of every people to live and flourish in their mother tongue.
