@Hollowtide It's "sources from Sony", which means he asked some random janitor or PR guy about their feelings and reported it as a leak. Please stop blindly believing everything you read on the internet
@kmcnam1 >Linux is about freedom, unlike Microslop
>What do you mean you wanna play a game with kernel level anticheat? You can't do that on Linux because *we* said so, it's for your own good, go back to Windows you moron
Just Linux things
@AloofOb@N_ticx@BigfryTV my guess is it's a lot cheaper to produce a year worth of content for Marathon, than it is for Destiny. And D2 was also failing after Final Shape, looking at the last year's numbers, it's hardly a big success.
@AloofOb@N_ticx@BigfryTV you just don't understand how much in the red Bungie is. Do you really think Sony would kill the franchise like that if they were even a little bit in the green? Bungie never learned how to be sustainable, and they will never learn.
@EckertAnthony@oops4041555 Would you have known that Vanguard is "fixing" IOMMU behavior if cheaters didn't publicly talk about it? How many other adjustments is Riot doing or planning to do? Do you know? Because I don't.
@The_HRforges@Orion_UESC now it's my turn to do "it's a videogame, not life and death situation" bit. wtf are you talking about? it's a standard market practice, it happens everywhere for all sorts of reasons to keep the company accountable. That's how you make sure they don't treat you like shit
@GaurDibuja Bungie were always trying to minmax community sentiment. If it's good, then it was time to milk their players. If it's bad, then it's time to do what they actually want. They abused good will of their fans every single time.
@tapisbadatgames Imagine the faces of Sony execs when they saw how much money and time it's gonna take to actually make D3. Remember Seattle salaries, Bungie's management, current issues with Marathon. And now you know why it's not happening.
@The_HRforges@Orion_UESC What should they do instead? "Not be sad because it's over, be happy because it happened"? Maybe write a love letter to dmg, asking to bring Red War back? Bungie never listened to fans unless their bottom line is hurt. "Normal" communication doesn't work. It's a learned behavior.
