If we allow medieval Sharia Law in Britain then it will subjugate women to second class citizens in their own country and return them as slaves to men like it was a 100 years ago and even worse. Why would we want this in Modern Britain if you want this then I suggest you go to a medieval country with 15th Century ideology and laws there are still plenty of these countries around the world. Women fought long and hard for their rights and freedoms why should we allow any backwards ideology to change that especially in a civilised society and nation.
