Veteran, ER Physician, American. The problem with humanity boils down to the fact we have paleolithic emotions & medieval institutions, but godlike technology.
Those are just problems to solve. Where would we be without people who are not afraid to tackle the extremely difficult challenges that others called "impossible."
@XFreeze Elon you're pretty smart guy but any physicist will tell you do human body can't handle that kind of travel through radiation and what travel like that does to the human body. And according to physicist a trip like that would be a one-way trip
That's not how citizenship works. There are people who have come here the legal way (Not sneaking across a border) and have worked to meet the citizenship requirements. They learn english, the learn American history, they acquire a work visa to work. They want to be an American! The people who broke the law by entering unlawfully, work illegally without documentation, they don't want to be American. They want America to be like them, and after all that and more.... They expect to go to the front of the citizenship line ahead of those who followed the rules. Maybe she should encourage her 'neighbor' to follow our laws.
@IsaacNilo1@CaptMarkKelly You can refuse an unlawful order. However, you had best be damned sure a court of law will see it the way you do. It's a court martial, incarceration, and bad conduct discharge if not. Disagreement with an order or the one giving it does not give you the right to disobey it.
Yes, you can refuse an unlawful order. You had better be damn sure a court of law will agree with you on the legality of that order. If it's determined not to be unlawful, it's a court martial and a ruined career for you. Just because you disagree with an order is NOT justification for disobedience!
@LezTonny@Caveat1@Kanthan2030@grok In the center space you see with a hatch. they don't usually transport drugs with them visible. They would be packed inside. I spent a couple of years doing drug interdiction while in the military.
