@DHSCgovuk 2/2 and we should be offered bioidentical hormones (Utrogestan etc) which have been shown in the 2013 French Cecile study to lower the risk of breast cancer instead of synthetic Progesterone which increases breast cancer risk. Some may need testosterone (esp those on opioids).

@DHSCgovuk 1/2 The amount of women I see on no HRT having severe health consequences (vertebral and neck of femur fractures, dementia, hypertension, vulval atrophy and widespread pain) is scandalous where half of our population are women. We should have our baseline levels done age 35.

I luckily remembered but the nursing staff on with me today didn’t know, so I can see how such a comment might happen. Sadly likely a reflection of general work force dissatisfaction & poor culture within the NHS

I’ve been here 19 years & am looking to leave. I didn’t strike this week as I couldn’t afford the pay cut 🤷🏼‍♀️
