Early variations were ultra-fucked, because I was really just dicking around and used a riser extension to bridge the two halfs, meaning zero would jump by a foot or two, regularly. Ended up with a weird gooseneck design that would work if metal, but largely useless as a functional print without major modifications.

All of the "protections" largely only apply to folks who, based usually on skin color, can make an issue even if there wasnt one. Unfortunately, saying "its because I'm a man" just gets laughed at. If you add any color that isnt "white" into that same phrase, even local PD gets involved and it is handled with utmost urgency. I feel like that sounds racist, but thats the reality of those specific laws/protections, at least from my own experience having been places where multiple such lawsuits were attempted by coworkers (mainly manufacturing when I did factory work), and played out largely as described. Just wish there was ANY avenue to do something about this outside of an appeal to the world, doxxing myself, for a job, but I know the reason there aren't any is by design. Turns out, if you remove the folks who keep the lights on, the lights become very easy to turn off...

Chances are doing so would somehow be twisted against me, as doing anything of the sort can already be legally considered blackmail or extortion. Can already imagine an HR department reporting such to local PD as "harassment," or "blackmail," despite likely only being one innocent, politely worded email which is neither of those things. There isn't much of a way to do so without already being at a company and having evidence of such impropriety occurring, as hiring managers can just directly lie or not even provide a reason for refusal to applicants. Without direct access to their practices, it would require educated guesswork to not end up on the wrong side of the law, and that isn't enough for me to attempt such. Just have a history of vaguely similar crap happening, and would rather not have such repeated, not that I have much to lose anyhow.

Reminds me of that time the same folks needed to slightly boost vote count for their candidate, only to then choose to do so by causing one of, if not the largest jump for a candidate in history.
