@Fenr1slfr Amazing how priorities and goals can shift ☺️ Sometimes it’s a complete 180–which isn’t a bad thing. After living close to downtowns, I wanted to move somewhere less urban. Kind of quasi suburbs now, but feel like I could still go a bit more rural. Maybe one day 😁🤞🏼
@AtavusShadow@acatnamedclyde2@AntiFeminismAU I am not “hung up” on cheating because that is the ENTIRE point of my argument! My stance this WHOLE TIME has been that there is no excuse to cheat or commit adultery.
Cheating = having a secret physical/emotional relationship with another. You’re talking about an open marriage.
@KarlJohanLundb2 I understood the first part. The second part was what I questioned. Hence the query.
I don’t think withdrawing affection is right either. But I understand it. Seems like a natural human reaction. Hopefully couples can avoid that though. Sounds miserable.
Another. (How many are there?!) Just how morally bankrupt does one have to be to think that if a wife doesn't have sex with her husband (i.e., due to low libido), that the husband can/should cheat on his wife? WTF is wrong with these males?! Seriously! 🤬
@wanderfall9@ChrisLaubAI@girlfromsouthie Nope. Refusal is breach of contract, therefore if x is refused then you may engage in x. Goes for cooking, cleaning, and everything else. Are you committing adultery if your wife refuses your laundry so you ask your neighbor to clean your clothes? Then why not suck your cock?
@shirley_kohl@foxytiggerH Definitely. Treating sex as transactional is loathsome. It’s a HUGE turnoff. So is basing the entire relationship (whether to marry or stay married) on the woman “providing sex.” Because again, transactional.
@NathanSpringuh@Most_high_Lord@ChrisLaubAI@girlfromsouthie My argument is that adultery is wrong no matter what. Full stop. No excuses. I am not arguing “why” someone may choose to cheat. It doesn’t absolve that person of their choice to cheat. It has no bearing on my specific argument. It changes nothing.
@Fenr1slfr@VivaldiVril Bussin’: extremely good, excellent, amazing.
Fr fr: “for real, for real”. Used to emphasize absolute truth, sincerity, or agreement.
… strong agreement about something being amazing? SUPER amazing? 🤔
Lol idk. But now my head hurts.
@KarlJohanLundb2 “He’s morally in his right to” what? Cheat? Absolutely not. Cheating is the opposite of moral behavior. There is no “moral right” to cheat/do something that is inherently immoral.
@juggernaut_usa Yes. I do believe both husband and wife owe it to each other to work through such problems with and for each other. Together. It takes effort and understanding from both. Physical intimacy should be a mutual giving of oneself between husband and wife.
@NamesCorp@Elumin_8 Without knowing their situation, all I could potentially do is tactfully point out the importance of physical intimacy between spouses in a marriage. Maybe offer suggestions for how they can find their way back. But again, I haven’t met or seen these women.
@NamesCorp@Elumin_8 I have not seen those women, so no. I don’t agree with sexless marriages. But I couldn’t see telling them to have sex with their husbands without knowing their situation—a situation that may be deeply private and personal. Adultery, on the other hand, is black & white.
@NamesCorp I am neither discussing dead bedrooms nor arguing in favor of them. I am addressing the specific topic of cheating/adultery, which is morally bankrupt and not a solution. Correct. That has been my point this whole time. But males want to debate it for some reason.
@SainteCarte Marriage is not a scam. But if that’s how you feel—and if you only care about getting sex and nothing else—stay single and leave women alone. Simple.
@SainteCarte I’m aware of the differences. Clearly.
1) You’re heavily biased and stubborn if you don’t believe there are men who deny their wives sex.
2) My question stands. The male I QT’d claimed that men would be understanding if the tables were turned. So answer the question or go away.
Men, is this true? If you aren’t giving your wife enough of what she wants, sexual or otherwise, would you be ok with her getting it from another man instead of you? Including cheating on you?
I think most men would be very understanding of their wife sleeping with someone else if they didn't give her reasonable sex.
Men are completely fine with women outsourcing everything. They can outsource communication to family/therapists, income to their employers, safety if they want to carry their own gun.
But women don't like it when guys outsource.
