Going to take a few weeks off here. Probably will stay silent after that. Please DM me if to want to chat and carry on engaging or message me on 07890 696291. Nay not be back. Dx
Very appreciative of @SwanseabayNHS plastics and burns unit colleagues care today.. Absolutely amazing and compassionate care for my daughter. Recovering well after her small operation. Diolch x
Some phenomenal shots and hole outs this afternoon @TheSolheimCup. What an amazing weekend of golf. Both teams seem really close and united, the standards are sublime and the rivalry but respect to each other also brilliant. The atmosphere sounds great too
@DenaMarieJones1 @HEIW_NHS Missed you this week too but you missed out on an evening louder, more talkative session than ever seen or heard before ๐คญ
Another fantastic two days at the Senior Leadership Development programme @HEIW_NHS with amazing talks on organisational structure and culture, wellbeing and psychological safety. No easy fixes when so many actively resist change but being part of an amazing cohort is inspiring
@DenaMarieJones1 @HEIW_NHS It's the most amazing and privileged experience I have been given during my time as a medical student, trainee and now Consultant.... Hands down!
@adyeoman@xxsnzz I'm waiting for the green light to start outsourcing a week after we stop outsourcing as for some mystical reason our waiting lists start going back up ...
The WG NHS plan won't work: 1) clear the waiting lists - how do we do that with a woefully inadequate workforce? WLI's are costly and we don't want them... We are shattered/burnt out doing more than we are paid for already. 2) Digital transformation - our printers don't work ๐คจ
@adyeoman@xxsnzz What, you mean that not being able to plan for the next 5 years and having to think of ways of spending money you asked for last year for something else but you can't use for that is a bad thing. I thought it was just me.... And don't start me on the money is in the wrong pot ๐คจ
@RslewisSally Sadly our political leaders are happier using a shame rhetoric and promising the world rather than listening to those who actually still work within a million miles of the front line to understand what the genuinely viable solutions are. I'm not interested in winning votes

Atgofion galed i siarad am ond pwysig dysgu gwersi a cynllunio yn well am y pandemig nesaf. Hard to recall and relive some of the memories of the pandemic but so important we learn from the mistakes (and good decisions) of COVID to plan for future pandemics
This week has been one of the hardest as a doctor, endoscopist, consultant and CD. Despite that amazing buzz scoping emergencies with fantastic colleagues. We can't get if ๐ฏ right every time but we give it a good try
Learning this week: When you are stressed, don't take it out on anyone, but especially the ones who care and work their hardest. A job is a job with so many external influencers that you will never change the world... Look after your patients, your team, your family, yourself
@MrsSParker1969 Thank you ๐ mam and dad joining us next week. This is so needed. Out on my one and a bit legs and mentally just drained and shattered. Xx
For those who like my out of office messages 11 hours left on call then out of office, out and away. Having spoken to friend and colleagues throughout this week I don't think we have know a more relentless period in the NHS, worse than the pandemic. Rest and self care needed ๐ฅบ
I hope they have sufficient defibs, hrombolysis, B blockers and Diazepam in the long room because the members must be having multiple MI's, CVA's, palpitations and panic attacks watching their sacred grass being destroyed and danced on and around ๐คฆโโ๏ธ๐คฃ #thehundred@SkyCricket
