How is it that the water situation in Bangalore is worse than any other big city?

I live in Rajasthan. Have grown up here. Water scarcity has been a part of life.

But I have never heard about people going to a nearby mall to shit. Using wet wipes. Disposable cutlery. Ordering food because of no clean utensils.

This reads like a nightmare.

And all this in flats costing in crores!
