30y ago at 22y old, My mother had to undergo a C-section of a peri-viable ~24 week neonate so that she could have an immediate radical hysterectomy due to advanced cervical cancer

My brother “lived” for 2 days. My mother was never the same

This is my weekend on hospitalist rounds . I've seen multiple similar cases this weekend, only barely surviving, but with extreme cost of pain and suffering that will last for months or perhaps a lifetime. Please, get vaccinated.
